Who uses bottom gusset bags
Bakeries and bread brands are the biggest users, for sliced loaves, buns, bagels and rolls. The format also suits produce, pet food, paper goods and any product that needs more depth than a flat bag can give.
Film options
Most bottom gusset bags are made from clear polyethylene film, chosen for clarity, a soft feel and clean closing with a tie or clip. White film gives the print a solid background, and polypropylene is an option for a crisper, glossier bag. A heavier film suits weightier products, while a lighter film keeps everyday bakery bags economical.
Printing your poly bags
Flexo printing in up to 8 colors puts your logo, product name and nutrition panel on the bag, with inks matched to your brand colors. Many bakeries leave a clear area so the bread shows through.
Sizes and options
Each bag is made to your width, length and gusset depth, with room at the top for a twist tie or clip. Bags can come wicketed for fast bagging or loose for hand packing.
Why Metro
We print and make your poly bags in our own Brooklyn plant, so a change to size or artwork is one conversation, not two. Bags typically ship 3–4 weeks from approved artwork.
