Typical applications
Whole-bean and ground coffee is the classic use, along with flour, grains, rice, pet food, birdseed and other dry goods sold by weight. The structure carries heavier fills while keeping a premium look on the shelf, and because the bag stands square it also packs neatly into cases.
Film structures
Quad-seal bags are usually laminated for strength and stiffness: a printed polypropylene or polyethylene outer film bonded to a polyethylene sealant layer. Metallized film gives coffee bags their classic opaque look, while clear or white film suits rice, grains and birdseed.
Printing and features
The front, back and both gussets can be printed in up to 8 colors, and the corner seals frame each panel with a sharp edge. Add a resealable zipper or tear notches, plus matte, gloss or registered varnish effects. For birdseed or pet food displayed in sunny stores and garden centers, a UV-resistant coating helps keep the colors from fading.
Sizes
Width, gusset depth and height are set to your fill weight and to how you want the bag to look standing up or lying flat. Send the product and a target weight and we will recommend a size.
