Custom Printed Flat Pouches & Bags

Custom printed flat pouches have no gussets: the front and back are sealed together on three sides, and the fourth side is sealed after filling. The result is a slim, light pack that is easy to display, mail or tuck into a box.

    • Slim, space-saving format
    • Print on both sides
    • Heat-sealed edges

    Popular uses

Candy and confections, spices and seasonings, single-serve portions, product samples, hardware and small parts, seeds and gift inserts. Flat pouches hang well on pegs and fit neatly in counter displays.

    Materials

Flat pouches can be made from a single polyethylene film for a simple, economical pack, or from a laminated PE and PP structure when the product needs more stiffness or a premium print. Clear, white and metallized films are all options, and a metallized pouch with a clear window is a popular look for candy and spices. For electronic components and small parts, an anti-static coating keeps the film from building up a charge.

    Print and features

Both sides can be printed edge to edge in up to 8 colors. Add a tear notch, a resealable zipper (applied in house), a hang hole or rounded corners, or keep a clear window as a simple way to show the product.

    Sizes

From small sachets to larger flat bags, each size is set by your product. Pouches are supplied open on one end, ready for you to fill and seal. Not sure of a size? Send the product or a fill weight and we will suggest one.

    Why Metro

Printing, laminating and pouch making happen in our Brooklyn facility, so small formats get the same care as large ones. Typical lead time is 3–4 weeks from artwork approval.
