Common uses
Specialty coffee, granola and cereal, premium pet food and treats, loose-leaf tea, baking mixes and gourmet foods. The box shape stacks neatly on store shelves and in shipping cartons, and it looks at home in a grocery aisle or a boutique.
Material options
Flat-bottom pouches are laminated for stiffness, so the box shape holds after filling. The structure pairs a printed polypropylene or polyethylene outer film with a polyethylene sealant layer. Metallized film gives coffee and pet food pouches an opaque, premium look, and a clear or white film suits granola, tea and baking mixes.
Print and finishing
Every panel can be printed, including the base and both side gussets, which is handy for ingredients or brewing instructions. Options include a resealable zipper, applied in house, plus tear notches, a matte or gloss look and a clear window on the side gusset.
Sizing your pouch
We size the base and gussets to the volume you need to fill and the look you want, from tall and narrow to short and wide. A current package or a sample you like is a quick way to show us what you are after.
Why choose Metro
Your pouch is printed, laminated and formed in one Brooklyn plant, and one team checks the print from the first proof to the finished pouch. Typical lead time is 3–4 weeks after artwork approval.
